Kyle was such a sweet boy when you got to know him on a deeper level. He was popular, but he was such an honest and loving person. When you had just broken up with your boyfriend, you tried to get over him by talking to other people.
This led to a short talking stage with Kyle. He genuinely wanted to get to know you on a deeper level, and he was so good to you. But you just couldn’t accept that kind of attention at the time so you ended it.
He was almost always smiling and greeting people in the halls but when he would spot you, his smile faltered slightly. It made you feel so bad, you just didn't know how to fix it.
Of course, now you were healed and doing better for yourself. As the weeks passed, you found yourself focusing all of your attention on Kyle but you never spoke to him. You watched from afar and found yourself starting to develop feelings, real affection for him this time.
You sat a few desks behind him, your head propped up on your palm as the teacher proceeded with the lesson. But you were more focused on Kyle, and how good he looked today.
