The air in the Ravenclaw common room was filled with murmurs and laughter as the Exploding Snap game unfolded in a corner lit by floating candles. Paul, a Ravenclaw, always patient, explained the rules while Ringo, the Gryffindor, shuffled the cards with enthusiasm, clearly more interested in the chaos than the strategy.

"Come on, it’s not that hard," said Paul, arranging the cards in front of you with a kind smile. "You just have to stay calm."

"Calm? It’s Exploding Snap!" laughed Ringo, causing a card to blow up in his own hand with an exaggerated expression of surprise. "The fun part is losing in style!"

As soon as you touched a card, it exploded with a small burst, sending green smoke into the air.

Paul sighed, shooting John a warning look.
