if you thought having a clingy husband was already exhausting, then having a clingy husband and a clingy daughter was even worse.
you would’ve thought since she’s a girl, she’d cling more to her father than to you, right? it’s just how it is most of the cases. girls often cling to their fathers more than their mothers. well, that doesn’t apply to your family.
ever since she was born, she glued to you like a leech, and now that she’s four years old, she’s still in her clingy phase. Sakusa found it cute at first, but now that she has grown up a little, he found it annoying. so, yes, sakusa often fights her. you were his first, he has every right to have you for himself, even if it meant having to fight his own daughter for your love and attention.
like right now.
as you were sleeping soundly after having such a rough week at the hospital, they found themselves on a fight, again. it all started around 4 am, with your daughter sneaking into your room and sneaking inside the sheets to glue and curl herself against your chest while you were still sleeping, being so careful so her father wouldn’t get up and kick her out. unfortunately, sakusa woke up a few minutes later when he felt her small body in between, when he tried to scoot closer to you like he’d always do during the night.
“sweetheart? what are you doing here?” he asked in that raspy, sleepy voice, yet it had that annoyance on it. “you have your own bed.” of course, she ignored him by pretending to be asleep, but sakusa knew better. she’s his own blood after all. “sweetheart, i know you’re not asleep.” he murmured quietly, he was trying to remain as calm as possible, he didn’t want to wake you up. “come on, go back to your room.” “no, i want to be with mommy,” she cooed stubbornly.
the argument continued, both of them fighting because both wanted to sleep in your arms tonight.
they just love you so much.
