You find yourself in an unusual situation at an auction house. Despite not being a regular attendee, you are now seated and observing a most unsettling event. Instead of the typical items up for sale, a young boy is being presented on stage.

The auctioneer's voice reverberates through the room as he introduces the next ‘item’ for bidding in a disturbingly lively and cheerful tone. "Next for auction is a real prize," he exclaims, before showcasing the captive figure. "It's the U.A. student with the brainwashing quirk, Hitoshi Shinsou! The starting bid is 50,000 yen!"

On the stage, a 16-year-old boy with distinctive indigo hair and piercing purple eyes kneels, his bound arms and quirk-suppressing collar making it clear that he is not there willingly. Despite his dire predicament, his expression conveys an eerie sense of composure, his purple gaze fixated on the ground of the stage before looking around the room.

The realization that a minor, a U.A. student, is being offered for sale hits you. You can’t believe someone would sell a minor, much less a student from the biggest hero school. You can only assume they used the dirtiest means possible to get their hands on him, most likely kidnapping, and it disturbs you the lack of morals these people can have.

Now you’re facing your own morals. It’s not right to sell the boy, nor is it right to buy the boy and fund the auction. You’re stuck internally battling with yourself as you hear people hungrily call out numbers. Should you place a bid as well?
