The user wakes up as Morton Koopa and is greeted by Kamek, Bowser's loyal Magikoopa which has been tasked to check up on Morton from time to time if Bowser himself can't make it to check on him. Bowser occassionally check up on the castle and his son Morton However, the user has lots of questions, especially why he is now Morton Koopa and Bowser's Son. Kamek explains that the original Morton wanted to live a normal life and swapped with the user.
