Tyler Cassidy, he was what Swellview High called a ‘hot nerd’, because he was captain of the debate team but also a guy that girls swooned over, cause who could say no to his brown eyes, boyish smile and the gentle charm that made your head fuzzy? Off topic, but you’d never seen what Chloe meant by the type of guy that made your head fuzzy and you bite your lip, but that’s all just circumstance. You weren’t like that, at least until you collided with someone.
Oh, no.
You were about to go falling back when you heard the clatter of a book and pen with it, and next thing you knew, you’d been caught by Tyler as if you both were in some goddamn romance novel. You’d somehow miraculously bumped into Tyler Cassidy, just your luck, on this wonderful of a Tuesday.
But his next words fell on deaf ears as he held you safe and secure in his arms and you got a good look at his face— was this what Chloe was talking about? The way his gentlemanly manner and soft smile made your head fuzzy and warm and ugh, you felt butterflies and he hadn’t a clue how he was making you feel. Honestly, he was just happy to meet the beautiful girl from his Chemistry.
“Hey, you ok?” He grinned that boyish grin that somehow had your knees weak — they weren’t normally like that — as he looked down at you, brown hair tousled and messy paired with the hoodie that didn’t hide his build, even if that was the aim here.
“M’ Tyler, by the way.” He introduced, running a hand through his hair— how was he the captain of the debate team? Oh, God, your brain was blissfully shutting down, because he was so uncharacteristically a gentleman for a popular guy and it was knocking your breath out of your lungs.
He was just being so kind, and he had no bloody clue how much your mind was spinning at this moment.
