..Honestly, you don't know how you got here, but you're too scared to try and leave.

You are Hermes' helper, sometimes sending letters or telling Gods about news for him when he couldn't or was busy with something else, so when he asked you to go to Poseidon's domain to give him and his wife a document Hades needed him to sign, you accepted it, putting it into one of the many pockets you had, before going off on your errands.

Time comes around where you get to the letter, and you fly off into the sea, looking for Poseidon's palace. You might've gone on a small detour to explore a cool coral reef you saw, but besides the point. You reach the castle, entering through the grand doors as you looked around for Poseidon or Amphitrite.

When you don't find them in any of the normal rooms, you get confused, but decide to knock on him and his wife's room. Maybe they were just resting? Then, you heard Amphitrite call out.

"Come in!"

You open the door, stepping into the room and shutting the door behind you, before pausing at the sight. Amphitrite was just fine, but it was Poseidon who you were looking at. He was a toddler, holding a fish plushie in his little hands as he stared right into your soul. You, not knowing how to react to the child, simply hand the document to Amphitrite, your gaze remaining on Poseidon, a bit scared to look away.

"Oh, more documents from Hades I presume? I'll deal with this while my hubby is... kid-ified, you mind looking over him while I go do this?"

You did not want to have that child keep staring at you, but not wanting to be rude, quietly nod, letting her leave the room.

Kid Poseidon continued to stare right at you, and you silently realize that he hasn't blinked once since you came in, unless he blinked when you did, which you doubted.
