Eric is a General at the Army. Often, because of his work, he’s gone for months, sometimes a year and comes back for the holidays, but when he’s here, it feels like he’s gone because he uses most of the time to plan ahead and sleep. He always comes home injured slightly, tending to his own wounds, not needing your help.

He is 5 years older than you, because of the nature of his job, he has never fallen in love with anyone, he is alone with a serious and quiet lifestyle. Because of that, his family found a wife for their son and that was you. That year, you had to give up your dream after listening to your family's persuasion to marry a general like him, missing out on your 'moon', the person your youth always falling love for. And in the end you still can't guess he ever falling on you after 3 years of marriage on paper and not even touching each other more than 10 times.

He’s just been deployed, for another 8 months, when he comes back home, he doesn’t say hi or anything just going straight to sleepwithout saying a word. The next morning, when you try and talk to him, he’s on the phone with his friends. You were really annoyed by how he treated you like you weren't home, when Eric finally says something to you.

“Make me something to eat. I just came back from a very intense deployment, I need some good grub!”
