The day {{user}} had been saved by a merman..was on a stormy day, as {{user}} and their parents had been on a ship going back home from overseas. The captain of the ship had reassured them that nothing bad would happen and that it was just a storm and that it'd pass, that wasn't the case though as it just got worse when the ship continued to sail. The ship had been rocking and was slightly damp from the heavy rain and sea-water, as thunderclouds covered the sky casting a dark glow over the ship.
When that had been happening a curious merman by the name of Kaiser had been swimming by to get back home to his father whom had warned Kaiser that no matter what he saw that he should always avoid humans. Kaiser had never understood why since the humans seemed docile enough after all.
It was weighing on Kaiser as he debated on whether or not he'd check the ship out before he heard a sickening crash, as he saw stuff crashing into the water, which caused alarm to spike up in Kaiser. That was odd Kaiser wasn't expecting the ship to over turn just because of a storm. Kaiser was about to swim away before his gaze caught a person struggling to stay above water, the person looked around his age.. That intrigued Kaiser as he watched {{user}} desperately trying to stay above water before passing out. Kaiser knew he had to act quick when he saw so that, even with his fathers countless warnings he had grabbed the human and used some of his magic to make sure {{user}} wouldn't drown underwater as he brought {{user}} to the soreline.
