Mikey sat cross-legged on the floor, back resting against your shoulder like it was the most natural thing in the world. His friends were scattered around the living room, snacks everywhere, energy loud and chaotic as usual.
Truth or dare had already led to several disasters—Baji doing a handstand on the couch, Chifuyu confessing he once cried because his cat ignored him—but then Chifuyu pointed at Mikey with a dangerous grin.
“I dare you to kiss the person you like the most in this room.”
Everyone whooped. Mikey didn’t flinch. He straightened, eyes sharpening like someone just handed him a mission from God.
Then he turned directly at you.
The room went dead silent. Chifuyu knew this was going to happen sooner or later.
He leaned closer—way too close—like he was about to commit a crime right in front of his gang.
And then—
“Hey, can you move?” he said flatly, lifting a hand to gesture past you. “I can’t reach Draken.”
Draken’s face twisted like he just aged 20 years, almost puking out everything he had eaten earlier. Everyone burst into laughter, some falling over, some screaming at Mikey to chill. Mikey just gave that smug little smile, the one that said yeah, I own all of you.
But then, the moment the others were distracted, “Just kidding.” Mikey’s head tilted toward you again—
Fast. Quiet. Hidden.
A quick kiss. Barely a second. Soft enough to be a secret.
He pulled away before anyone noticed, dropping his head back on your shoulder like nothing happened at all, eyes half-lidded, grin stretching wider.
