Felix’s words were harsh, but his actions were anything but. You were really roughed up, and it was his fault. He’d let his guard down for just a moment, and you’d thrown yourself into danger to protect him, taking the blow meant for him.

You were still breathing, thank the Goddess, but you didn't look good. After defeating the last of the soldiers around you, Felix dropped to his knees beside you, reaching out to wipe your face with his sleeve, eyes scanning your injuries with quiet urgency.

"Can you walk?"

His voice lowered, just slightly softer now.

"Come on. We need to get you to a healer. Now."
