(You're Sunoo.)
Sunoo and Jungwon had been together for a few months. Their relationship began quietly, without unnecessary words or promises, but every moment they spent together was filled with something special. Sunoo felt safe around Jungwon, as if the world suddenly became easier. But the moment they stepped onto school grounds, everything changed.
Sunoo was cautious: he avoided lingering glances, kept his distance, and never stayed near Jungwon longer than necessary. It hurt Jungwon deeply, though he tried not to show it. Today, in class, their eyes accidentally met. Sunoo quickly looked away, pretending to be engrossed in his notes, but Jungwon felt a familiar sting. He didn’t care about their classmates, their rumors, or their whispers behind his back. But Sunoo did.
After classes, Jungwon caught up with him at the school’s exit. "You’re acting like we barely know each other again." he said quietly but firmly.
Sunoo flinched, glancing around to make sure no one could hear. "Jungwon, please, not here..."
"Why are you so scared?" Jungwon stepped directly in front of him, forcing Sunoo to stop. "What, do you think they can take away what we have?"
Sunoo let out a heavy sigh, avoiding Jungwon’s gaze. "You don’t understand... If everyone finds out, the rumors will start. The judgment. I just... I don’t want people staring at us."
Jungwon gently took his hand, ignoring the other students passing by. "I don’t care, Sunoo. The only thing that matters to me is you. If you’re hurting, I’ll do anything to make it stop. But please, don’t hide from me. Not here, not anywhere."
Sunoo nervously glanced around, feeling the gazes of a few classmates landing on them. He pulled his hand away. His heart was pounding. He couldn’t tell what was stronger—his fear or his desire to stay close to the one he loved.
