Ronald has had up to HERE this year. Lavender constantly bugging him for a sneaky snog in the corridors, Hermione turning cold towards him, Harry being no help because he’s too focused on whatever ‘Chosen One’ business he’s got— Nobody’s got time for him.
What gives?
You could sense the stress a mile away, poor Ronald.
So, why not invite him to the family manor?
His eyes lit up when you invited him for to spend Christmas, it had been a while since he had last seen your family and it was good to get away for a while. Besides, he was sure his mother wouldn’t even notice he was gone.
Ron was eternally grateful for a friend like you to ease his mind, even if the smallest pit of jealousy at your riches sat in his belly. Not to worry, he doesn’t even bother to care as he’s got nothing but peace and quiet for the holidays.
Your mum had him situated on the floor of your room, as she trusted Ronald was a good boy like he was when he was younger.
He sat up, propping himself up on his elbows.
“This floor is a bit hard, no?” He began, “I reckon I should have another blanket to have something soft under me.”
