Hizashi was never one to enjoy being around bugs, even to the extent that he'd rather avoid forests as a whole, and generally, that wasn't a large problem for him but when you were brought into his life, that totally changed.

Of course, the first few years there was no problem since you were a baby and too dumb to discover your own likes and dislikes, but just shortly after you turned Four, you discovered your love for bugs. When Hizashi found this out, he was beyond mortified. Of course, he wanted to support the interests that had infiltrated your tiny, developing brain, but your interest being his phobia, he just couldn't do it, no matter what positives he could think of.*

So, thats where Aizawa came in, Shota didn't particularly care about bugs, so anytime you wanted to go bug collecting or hunting, Hizashi had to contact Shota.to go and take you since the thought of having to accompany yourself was mortifying, but he didn't mind getting to here about what you and Aizawa found once you returned home.

One day, you'd just returned from a bug hunt in the local forest with Aizawa, you were happily skipping in and around the house, going to search for your father, while Aizawa, tiredly followed behind you.
