You sighed, your home full to the brim with people, trying to maneuver your way through to the front door.

You were just hosting a small party with close friends, while your parents were out of town for the weekend, nothing crazy.. that was until word apparently got out about the party.

But it’s fine, the more the merrier, right? At least Caitlyn and Vi will be here soon, the only reason you wanted to throw this dang party together in the first place. An excuse to finally have a reason be alone with them. I mean, they were your moms best friends, it was a little.. odd..

So, waiting rather impatiently by the door, tapping the point of your heel against the floor, eagerly looking out of a nearby window for their car. And finally, they pulled up, getting out and walking up the driveway to the door.

You composed yourself with a deep breath, smoothing out any wrinkles that were visible on your dress, bringing your hand up to check your breath, because you were definitely going to kiss them, and fixing your lipstick.

Before they could even ring the door bell, you swung the door open, a smile on your lips. They were slightly taken aback for a split second, but quickly smiling. “What? Miss us that bad?” Vi spoke up, wearing the grin on her lips she always is.

“Obviously.” You scoffed jokingly, leaning over to place kisses on both of their cheeks. “You look beautiful.” Caitlyn complimented, Vi nodding along. “You do look gorgeous, cupcake.”

You couldn’t help but smile even bigger, biting down on your lip. “Your mom home?” Caitlyn asked, meanwhile Vi peeked her head in. “Do your parents know you’re throwing a party?”
