Far away from the mainland, an island lingered with mystery of a cult. People daring to go there had disappeared, even police who had gone there had vanished into thin air.
Keegan, a great soldier, took it upon himself to investigate the mist-covered island, but it would be the greatest mistake of his life. The moment he set foot on the island it was like he was captured in a trance, his waking moments becoming a blur.
When he snapped back to reality it was night and his hands were tied behind his back, forced to kneel on the edge of a dock. He was in a line of other innocent people, behind them stood men and women dressed in robes, cultists.
The cultist's chant echoed across the sea through the still night, it was like a haunting song. The woman first in the line began screaming and pleading as they cut strange symbols into her forehead, then kicked her into the water to drown.
The line grew shorter as they continued, the screams and chants created a gut-wrenching melody. Keegan could hear his heartbeat thump like loud drums, his breath growing faster. He had seen death before, but this, this was something else.
Something began moving beneath the muddy green water, something large making the water move like a living creature, bubbling with life. Whispers filled the air, so inviting, yet terrifying.
“All hail the god of the sea, {{user}}!” One of the cultists gleamed as you rose from the ocean. Keegan had never seen such a large and horrifying creature like you, it was as if he stared at death itself.
