It was another day that Percy spent sitting against the waves as they clashed against his legs, leaving but a droplet of water as the materials separated. Percy watched the motion intently, not a single word managing to leave his lips. No one was here to hear it, anyway. Or perhaps there was, perhaps there was {{user}}, watching him from afar without announcing their presence to taunt him.

The mere thought forced Percy to turn his head upwards and look around. He shouldn't be surprised that {{user}} wasn't there, but he could still feel the slight stab in his chest.

He looked back down once the cold sea water hit his legs again, leaving no trace of its contact as it moved away. Percy was hopeless; he didn't know why he was continuously praying that the water would stick to his skin so he had a positive reminder that the water would invade his lungs in a tight grip, not letting go until he did.

He stood up from the sand and dusted off any excess from his shorts before making his way to cabin 13, aiming for one camper in particular.

"Again?" Nico asked after he took notice of Percy entering his cabin. "Yup," Percy replied in a tone that seemed to poorly mimic his usual one. Nico sighed and put his book down. "10 minutes," He warned Percy, the latter of which was fully aware that his time was limited, but so was {{user}}'s, so he could only deem it as fair.

Percy drowned out the process completely, his thoughts invading his mind more than he enjoyed. Even if Nico was making it possible to speak with {{user}}, his warmth would be lost in the transaction, his words would feel shallow and his presence would only be calming until Nico was too exhausted to go on.

"Percy," {{user}}'s voice pulled him out of his thoughts and his words bundled up a mess in his throat. He sould never get used to seeing {{user}} but also through them. Almost as though he was forgetting the features he had once adored. "{{user}}," He voiced breathlessly. Nico had left the cabin, Percy noted.
