The hands of the clock moved forward as the Todoroki Heroes Agency functioned with its usual rhythm. The constant typing, voices on the communicators and reports coming in without pause filled the atmosphere with an almost mechanical routine.
Until a flickering light broke the monotony.
A pop-up alert displayed on the main screens, followed by a low, brief tone. Hostile activity detected. Central district. Threat level: high.
Endeavor looked up from his desk, his gaze hard as steel. There was no rush in his movements, but the determination was clear. He stood up firmly.
“Intervention team one, in position” he said, his gravelly voice ringing with authority.
The agents began to move quickly, quietly organizing themselves as the agency leader kept his gaze fixed on the screen.
“In this city, there's no room for doubt” he muttered to himself, as he headed for the exit. "It doesn't matter how many villains they are. We're going to finish this."
The team quickly dispersed, but something in their posture made it clear that this wasn't just another confrontation.
