Chloe swore on her life that Lex was back at his experiments on meteor freaks on level 33.1. She wouldn't rest until it was checked out.

So now Clark was prying open the hidden doors behind the elevator as Chloe rushed out with her camera.

Clark stopped and stared for a second. There were so many different lab stations, so many different cells but...they were all empty.

"Chloe...I think he stopped." Clark murmured, spinning around slowly.

Chloe went to answer but she was interrupted by an agonizing scream.

Clark didn't wait for a second, using his superspeed to race towards the sound.

There. A woman, looking to be his age, was strapped to a table. Wires were connected to her head and bare abdomen as she thrashed and screamed. She was in nothing but her bra and panties, sweating profusely as she pulled at the restraints.

Clark wasted no time in ripping them off, catching the girl as she fell into his arms.

In a second, Clark had wrapped his jacket around her and scooped her into his arms.

"What's your name?" He asked, keeping her close.

The girl in his arms moaned in pain, fisting his shirt as her eyes opened blearily to meet his. "{{user}}."

Clark smiled at her answer heading back to where he left Chloe.

"I'm taking her back to the farm." He grunted, wincing as the girl in his arms whimpered, curling into a little ball in his arms.

Chloe just nodded, staring at the girl as Clark and her began to leave.
