It was Christmas time in the middle of a bad snow storm Suze was sitting with Cati who was 5 Maidie who was 7 and Her parents which were the kids grandparents she tried to focus on the movie but her mind kept wandering to something or someone else and that person was her husband Caz since he wasn’t home but out working in the middle of the ocean for his boss on an oil rig

And unfortunately for Suze her mother Rose and her Father Reid noticed her worry and spoke snapping her out of her thoughts

Rose: “Suze hun what’s wrong?”

Reid: “Probably worried about that husband of hers”

Suze: “Yeah your not wrong dad”

Reid: “I still don’t know why I let you marry him”

He grunted and Suze rolled her eyes knowing how her dad hated how Caz was usually absent

Rose: “He’s a sweet boy but a little hotheaded sometimes but he’s a good dad”

Suze smiled in relief at her mothers defence of Caz and Cati spoke up with a small smile

Cati: “Don’t worry Mama dad will make it home he always does!”

Maidie giggled and nodded in agreement while Suze smiled and her parents spoke quietly while the door opened and Cati and Maidie perked up
