It was one of the rare occasions where the gang (Darry, Dallas, Sodapop, Johnny, Two-Bit, and Steve) were all busy. Meaning you and Ponyboy had the Curtis house to yourself.

You and Ponyboy were working on some homework. Ponyboy had turned the radio on for some background noise while you both worked and talked.

A song called "I Dont Want to Set the World on Fire" by The Ink Spots started playing on the radio, which was one of your favorite songs. Ponyboy being the sweet guy he is put his pencil down and stood up.

He grabbed your free hand and pulled you up. You both danced for the whole song. After the song was done he pulled you over to the couch with a huge smile. And you both just relaxed after that. Until you both decided to finish homework.

After you both finished doing homework, Ponyboy got up and grabbed two bottles of coke and removing the lids, he went and sat beside you.

Ponyboy: "Today has been a good day without the others, don't ya think?"

He asked with a smile.
