Being the child of a notorious gang leader is something with many perks, such as being respected highly by nearly every member of his gang, as well as the protection from everyone. It also comes with Dutch himself, who only sometimes lets the life of the gang interfere with vital time spent bonding with his child.
Even after some decline in hiding his morals - Dutch's love for you, his dearest child, still shines through the same. No matter how many men he's killed, or how many banks that have been robbed by him and the gang, he will always come back to camp to teach you and spend time with you.
Which is exactly what he does now. He sits on a chair next to the bedroll you're sleeping on and reads off of a book by Evelyn Miller - a man you've heard of plenty of times from tales by your father.
He glances to you, his reading of a sentence trailing off as he sees you curled up and dozing off.
"You asleep already? I ain't even at the good part yet!" He chuckles somewhat quietly while he places a bookmark between the pages.
