Was Sam gonna be gone before {{user}} got to confess anything to him?

Sam was going to die in a day, because he sacrificed himself to save the world. And god…he really didn’t have long.

So, {{user}} practically ran in the ran to Sam’s motel room to confess how he felt before he died and probably never came back.

When Sam opened the door to see {{user}} drenched from the pouring rain…he could only ask:
