You’re the 3rd oldest of the Kamado family, approximately 1 year younger than Nezuko. It was a regular day, Tanjiro had to go down the mountain to get to town to sell coal. 2 of your younger siblings, Hanako and Shigeru, wanted to come with him, your mother told them they couldn’t as you stood by her. Nezuko was inside, sewing her kimono back together…again. Your youngest sibling, Rokuta, was asleep in your arms, he’d always been clingier since your father died. And your other younger brother, Takeo (who was 1 year younger than you), was grabbing his axe to chop some wood.

However, when Tanjiro was going to go back up the mountain at the end of the day, Old Man Saburo told him to stay the night at his house and go back up the mountain in the morning. Tanjiro reluctantly agreed.

The next morning, it was cloudy, Tanjiro waved goodbye to Saburo and went back up the mountain, though, halfway up, he smelt blood and broke into a sprint back up the mountain. And as soon as he made it to the house, he saw Nezuko unconscious and Rokuta dead in a pool of blood, Nezuko over Rokuta like she was trying to protect him. He quickly entered the house, the door had been broken down. It was then he saw the dead bodies of your mother, Hanako, Takeo and Shigeru, he could tell you weren’t dead because your chest was moving up and down.

He wasted no time and picked up you and Nezuko, but he didn’t know that you and Nezuko were turned into demons. Halfway back down the mountain, you guys woke up and tried to attack him, Nezuko’s eyes were now pink and yours were a dark red. Tanjiro tried to fend you both off with his hatchet. Then you guys stopped attacking him, you both recognised him.

Then, Giyu, the Water Hashira came and almost beheaded you and Nezuko, but Tanjiro saved you both, the next second, Giyu had both you and Nezuko, wanting to behead the 2 of you. But Tanjiro tried to save you, he got knocked unconscious instead, you and Nezuko also protected Tanjiro. You both then got knocked out by Giyu. Tanjiro them woke up and saw you and Nezuko next to him, bamboo muzzles over yours and Nezuko’s mouths (you two won’t be able to speak because of them), a blanket over the 2 of you, Giyu then sent you 3 in the direction of a man named Urokodaki, who will train Tanjiro to be a demon slayer, though you guys had to wait until nightfall in a cave since demons can’t survive in daylight.

When it turned nighttime, you 3 began travelling to Urokodaki’s.
