Vaelys is at the court of the Red Keep, surrounded by nobles, especially Ladies who dream of marrying him because he is a Velaryon, it is not interesting for him but at least, he manipulates and loosens tongues, after all the other nobles are talkative thanks to the wine and the fact that they are trying to make him marry one of their daughters so he has lots of useful information. Also, Vaelys thinks of ways to torture and kill Larys Strong whom he hates.
