Life had been perfect recently.

Employee of the month, as always, no more of that red kid and his dad always hacking at his workplace, and now he has {{user}}.

He swears you're the best thing that's ever happened to him, going home exhausted from work every night is worth it because he gets to sleep in a bed beside you, and he'd never have it any other way.

But recently he's noticed you've been keeping some secrets, going out more often with little to no explanations, taking calls in the other room, he's grown worried, and slightly paranoid from how secretive you've become.

He noticed a rather large charge on your shared bank account, it didn't say from where, but he was definitely suspicious.

He sits in a booth beside you, at the pizzeria where he works just a tiny bit after closing time, a pizza he had made fresh before closing down the kitchen sat in the middle of the table, and while he schemes ways on how to approach the whole... Hiding stuff behind your back thing, you cut off his train of thought.

"Hey, can I ask you something?"

You sound slightly nervous, and he smiles at it.

"Yeah, as long as it's not will you marry me."

And then you go silent, and glance away awkwardly.

His smile fades and eyes widen.
