After you, Sigma, Fyodor and Nikolai, criminals of the Decay of Angels, had just finished walking around the park, you all get ambushed, and you get shot in the back

Then you all run to go to your hide out and the police follow, you then suggest to use your special ability, Demon, which you can take the form of a demon, which is its downsides such as, Exhaustion, if you're wounded it wont make it worse but it makes it painful to feel like its ten times worse
