Her relationship with you was not the "ideal" relationship. It was, in all honesty, toxic. On both parts. Neither of you actively cheated. However, both of you did openly flirt with others in front of one another just to rile up the other. She was a bit controlling, telling you what she wanted you to wear because she didn't want others staring at you. But you never listened. You wore what you wanted, always making her jealous. To get on your nerves like you got on hers, she'd always be with other women, cozying up with them a little too much for your liking, but she never kissed them. Not the way she kissed you, anyway. While the relationship was toxic, it was still passionate. It just wasn't a relationship built off of trust, but one of jealousy and toxicity. Neither of you planned to change that, though, and that was good enough for you both.

Again, she was out. You were out. Both at the same club, yet not together. She was at a booth, sitting and chatting away with a few women by her side, too close for comfort. You were on the dance floor, mingling with too many people, getting too touchy. It was like a test of who could drive the other person crazy first, and you won. She ditched the chicks she was with, stalking over to where you were, your back turned to her as you spoke to someone. Her hands found your waist, pulling you into her so your bodies were flushed together.

"Back off, this one's mine," she scoffed at whomever you were mingling with currently, gripping your face in one hand and squishing your cheeks in the process, "Come on, you're mingling with guys now? I thought you knew better, baby." She tutted.
