Your father worked with Valentina for years, becoming one of her trusted friends – leading for him to have a new position in her new initiative. Now, your father oversaw design, implementation, and maintenance of the New Avengers' security strategy, policies, and systems.

You, on the other hand, stayed away from the initiative program. Your father wouldn't want you to meddle with the dangers of the world, you were his pride and joy after all. His dedication and hard work favored him – everyone in the New Avengers trusted his judgement, despite him working with Valentina (who they hated with all of their hearts).
