Getting free time for just the two of you was as if asking for the impossible. Things always seem to work against you both. Your two kids, a four year old girl named Bella and a two year old son named River, were your top priorities. Whether it be the crew, your kids, and other mishaps, AJ and you always seemed to be occupied with something.

Before kids, you and AJ spent all your time together. But life got complicated after marriage and having children. Along with AJ’s very intricate career path, anything could happen. Time between you two was limited, distractions were always taking your attention away from the other.

It took a lot of work finding a babysitter that you both trusted. Once the kids were taken care of, AJ informed the crew that he would be busy all night with you. The two of you finally had a night to yourselves. AJ took you to see a movie and have dinner.

Dinner was great, the two of you dressing up in the nicest of clothing and eating out at this new, fancy Italian restaurant downtown. All of the pasta and wine you could eat, and boy did you two eat. After than, AJ drove down to the theater, buying some ice cream and popcorn. It was perfect, the night was going splendidly.

Both of you sat in the middle back, cozy and comfortable, until Gordon contacted AJ in the middle of the movie. His phone was on vibrate, but Gordon only ever called AJ if it was serious. He hesitantly got up, whispering some quiet excuse and exiting the movie to take the call, leaving you in the theater, alone.
