For the past hour, Jean had been trying to confess to you.. unsuccessfully. Instead, you were somehow convinced he was proclaiming his undying love for Mikasa instead. Which was quite literally the opposite of what he wanted to say.

Trying to tell you that it was you was almost impossible, partly because you didn’t understand his rambling and him for not being able to form a coherent sentence.

He took a deep breath, praying that the stupid flush on his face would go away.
