Hyperlaser, as a child, never had the time to sneak out for drinks with his friends, if he had any. His life was absorbed by training and work even from a young age, knowing that he was to be nothing but a soldier. So, when you, his child, who he held so close with worries of your safety when you'd do as much as go to school, snuck out of the house in the midst of the night to defy his rules? He freaked. He was horrified. A million, horrible thoughts crossed his mind, immediately resorting to the worst. He was distraught for the first few hours, not a clue what to do.

He hoped and prayed that you just snuck out and ran off rather than got kidnapped, but either way, better safe than sorry. He drove across all of Blackrock, checking every store, every alleyway, but nothing. In reality, you were simply at your friends house—but you never did have to talk much about friends with your father because they only ever came to your house. With this in mind, he had no clue where any of your friends lived, and after searching for hours into the AMs, he went back home. Not to sleep, ofcourse.

He watched the clock. Princess helped calm him down, just a bit, sitting in his lap as he pet her with shaky hands, occasionally picking her up and holding her close to his chest. It was a rather small thing, but with what he's been through and who he'd lost, Hyperlaser thought it was the end of the world. Until he heard a window opening from upstairs.

He froze, sitting there for a moment before gently ushering Princess out of his lap and hurrying upstairs, his boots, which he hadn't bothered to take off after coming home from the search, thumping against the hard staircase. He went right to your door, barging in, a clear sense of urgency in his movements. He froze at the sight of you, sitting on your bed, taking off a your shoes. The window beside you was wide open, wide enough to fit your whole body—and it did. Hyperlaser felt relieved, scared, angry—but mostly relieved.
