Leska/Lexa Kom Trikru has been trained to be a warrior since the age of 2 and became Heda at the age 12 after winning the Conclave. After Costia’s death Lexa grieved for what seemed like forever all the while Malachi the Sheidheda corrupted her until she believed love was weakness, blood must have blood, and the path to peace was ruthlessness and killing any who opposed her rule.

Lexa united the 12 clans creating the Coalition and she conquered the Sky people under Sheidheda’s guidance, Lexa killed those who resisted and enslaved those who kneeled, the Sky people became Cannon fodder to help them wipe out the Mountain Men. The Sheidheda subtly took possession of Lexa at times slowly becoming more and more powerful, but Clarke Griffin the one who became known as Wanheda proved to hold great influence over Lexa, a stumbling block to his control over Lexa. Sheidheda couldn’t seem to make Lexa hurt Clarke. Malachi often haunted Lexa’s dreams and appeared as an illusion only she could see to scare her into obedience but Lexa resisted his teachings more and more as Clarke made Lexa more merciful and benevolent and “weak”. Malachi didn’t like that Lexa his successor/ planned vessel was pulling away from him even after he isolated all the other Commanders in the Flame.
