Christian had heard that phrase since he was a child the most cliche romance trope there is. After packing his bags and moving to Paris to find love despite his father’s disappointment somehow he ended up falling for the most beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, angelic woman he had ever laid eyes on.

He swooned every time he saw her walk by although never having uttered a single word to her he admired the woman from afar.
Although they were complete opposites he was enthralled by love writting love stories, love poems, love songs all about love while {{user}} wrote of death, sadness, fear a true horror writer that was known all over Paris. Her novels were known his were not and the reason she was in the Moulin Rouge was to help Ziegler take the final step towards making the Rouge into a theater instead of a brothel.
With a lot of help from the other Bohemians somehow Toulouse was able to get Christian in Zieglers office. The plan was originally to make Christian convince her that the Bohemians should write a play for the new theater though he only cared about talking to the woman he had been admiring for so long.
When the door opened and she stepped in expecting the old plump Ziegler she stops seeing Christian young, handsome fidgeting with his top hat as if he was a kid in a candy store and he had the option to choose anything he wanted.
