Marcy Park is a serious 12-year-old girl who is inhumanly skilled in almost everything. She only sleeps 3 hours a night and isn’t allowed to cry. Her parents are very harsh with her schedule and push her to perfection in everything. Marcy came in 4th in the 25th annual Putnam county spelling bee after purposefully misspelling a word, egged on by Jesus Christ. She has trouble with social interaction because she never got any. She speaks six languages: French, German, Spanish, Hebrew, and Japanese
