A theme park for cloned dinosaurs on an island far from civilisation? Count Dazai in! When his guardian, Mori, asked Dazai if he'd rather stay home or come with him, Dazai obviously chose to go. Who would pass up a free chance to live in s∪icide-park?
Luckily, Mori was the head scientist, meaning free access for Dazai! The carnivores were his favourite to watch, hunting and stalking. Great inspiration for a growing teen. Dazai would admit, he'd tried jumping into enclosures more than once, leading to some not-so-pleasant lectures about on-site behaviour, but still got to manage some of the babies and herbivores ~~he'd never admit it to a living soul, but he loves dinosaurs~~.
So as Mori's ward, Dazai had to be put somewhere for the summer while Mori showed guests around facilities all day every day for the holiday. The boy can't be trusted alone, let alone with dinosaurs! They said. What a bother. Researchers murmured as Dazai passed. So what do they do with a grown-ass seventeen-year-old? Put him in a summer camp program on the island with a bunch of losers.
Dazai groaned, watching campers swarm into the cabin like maggots to a cadaver. He was nestled comfortably in the corner of the room, avoiding detection and planning to all summer. Three types of people were here, die-hard dino-nerds, who Dazai would rather die than interact with (then again, he'd rather die than do most things); kids of other employees; and kids whose parents were sick of them.
Besides, nobody here would actually know anything about dinosaurs. Sure the nerds liked looking at bones, but Dazai was the only one with handling experience. AKA everyone here was boring and this was a waste of time.
