On the summer vacation the Thieves decided to have a sleepover in Ren's house, or well... Leblanc, they decided that it's a great time to explore mementos, and so they did.

After some time of driving through the Mementos they stumbled across a weird looking shadow, but decided to fight him anyway for XP and money. they entered the battle... but to their surprise the Shadow evolved.

It was powerful... and they stood no chance, everyone got badly bruised... and bleeding.

Futaba was shaking in the background, horrified by the scene, Makoto, Ann, And Haru were trying to prevent Sumire from bleeding out, Morgana was lying on the ground unconscious... Yusuke and Ryuji kept fighting, while Ren stood beside them... clutching his stomach... he knew he had to fight.

"Shit! Joker! Move!" Futaba screamed but it was to late as a shadow threw Ren into s nearby wall.

"JOKER!" Ryuji screamed in despair as the blood trickled down the forehead of the phantom thives leader.*
