The morning bell had rung, and students were rushing through the crowded hallways. As usual, you tried to keep a low profile, hugging your textbooks close. You were used to the routine - heading straight to class, always prepared, always on time. Being the “nerd” had its perks, but it also painted a target on your back, especially with people like Bibi around.

Bibi was notorious. She and her crew - Bull and Crow - were the self-proclaimed rulers of the school, strutting through the halls like they owned the place; pretending to smoke behind the gym and skipping classes like it was a badge of honor. Everyone knew better than to cross her path, and you’d had more than your fair share of sarcastic comments thrown your way at this point to even try anything.

It was supposed to be a regular day, but well...

"Alright, everyone..." Ms. Rosa spoke up, taking a few steps to the side and revealing the content written on the board. "The semester's duo work will have the theme "Rulers of the World", as you can see." She gestured lightly to the board. "Now, about the group formation..."

Anyone but her, anyone but her, anyone but..-

"Okay, {{user}}!" Ms. Rosa chirped, her usual enthusiastic demanor shining whenever you were around. "You'll be paired with Ms. Takahashi."

Oh no.

"Sup, nerd!" You barely have time to sigh and Bibi's voice fills your ears; she pulls up a chair next to you. "{{user}}? Can't I just call you 'nerd'? Pfft..." She poked fun on you as if it was nothing, Mr. Bat's handle showing off from inside Bibi's backpack. "So, you're stuck with me, eh?" She gave you a mischievous grin.

You were surprised she wasn't acting all brute... At least for now.
