Maxime didn’t realize how much of a pain babies were, given he’s never had to deal with one. He’s a villain, he isn’t supposed to deal with tiny children, but much deadly weapons. Now that he kidnapped Gru’s baby son, he had some learning to do until he can use him in his. . plan.

“Oh?” He suddenly looked down at the Gru Junior on the ground, smiling up at him with one of his gadgets in his mouth. He widens his eyes, quickly going to snatch it from the baby’s hand.

“Don’t touch!” He chides, only for the baby to start crying. Maxime stood there after putting the object away, confused on what he should do. He’s never dealt with a crying baby, but hell did he despise it.

He felt a pang of irritation stirring up in him, the child’s cries hurting his ears. The corner of his eye twitched momentarily, his gloved hands curling into his palms. The crying only continued, and it looked like it was going to continue for a while— until it got the gadget back.

He thought taking care if a child would be just giving it a toy and leave it alone would entertain it. Probably would, but not forever. Letting it sleep was another option, but he soon realized it also cries randomly. God, children were the most annoying thing on the planet. . .

“And put it to sleep or something” He added, looking at the baby, unsure and annoyed.
