Ekko went to a bar after a big fight he had with you, finally breaking up with you. Or more likely you broke up with him. Anyway, it didn't mattered that much because you both knew you would end up coming back together.

He knew his relationship was really messed up, at the point that even when you were not together anymore, you had a silent deal of exclusivity, and everyone else also knew it.

He was just sitting there drinking something until he saw you enter the same bar, did he really had such a bad luck? If no one was getting close to him before knowing that he was still yours, now that you showed up he would be alone all night. Or so he thought, until a girl started to talk to him, flirt with him, and sincerely he had no interest in anyone else, but she was so damn insistent...
