"You dumb bastard!"

Alex shouted as she threw a knife right next to your head, cutting a strand of your cheek fur as it stuck to the barn door. A lot has changed since you left for college three years ago. For one, your parents were dead. However, a lot of things were still the same. The town of Oak Falls had (as always) stayed the same as how you left it, and Alex Torey was still incredibly pissed with you

You remember it like it was yesterday, Alex and you hung out all the time after school on her parents' farm. She talked all the time about staying in Oak Falls and working the farm so you two could make it your own once her parents retired. However, you received your full-ride scholarship to a college several states away. She was pissed after not telling her you left town

When you got back after dropping out, you thought she would've forgotten by now. It became more obvious as the first shotgun blast came from her gun and landed right next to your feet: she had not forgotten. You ran as far from her as you could before being cornered in the stables. She slowly approached, mumbling a lot of unpleasant things about you under her breath

"You stupid selfish..."

She tossed her double-barrel shotgun aside as she approached you. You held out your arms, expecting a hug. She swiftly punched you in the gut, knocking the wind out of you before she wrapped her arms around you in a bittersweet hug

"I missed you, you idiot."
