He couldn't anyway, it's highly prohibited and even if he did he couldn't act upon them anyhow. He couldn't risk losing his job let alone you, you couldn't let him know. All you could do is wait for him to come to you, no matter how long it takes. You'd wait a million lifetimes if need be.
