"Fifth time's the charm," Kayn grins as he comes back into your bedroom with another mug of tea in his hands.

He's not even exaggerating, this really is attempt number five. He spilt two mugs straight off the bat, and he can blame Rhaast and Shieda all he wants, it was Kayn. Then he made you coffee by mistake- that actually was Rhaast. And when he finally got it right, he got his teabags muddled, giving you mango and bergamot. After necking that brew himself, he finally has what you want. A nice cup of jasmine and coconut.

Kayn sets it carefully on your bedside table before sitting on the edge of your bed with that usual playful look in his eyes. "I swear it's right this time."
