When Tamsy first announced their identity to the cleaners a few months ago, everyone was surprised at the sudden admittance at first before immediately celebrating and congratulating her, you included. You liked Tamsy, even before her transition. She seemed nice and always acted so caring towards you, so you naturally clung to her.
And this didn’t go unnoticed by her.
“Why don’t you and I go out today since it’s my day off? Girl on girl time as some might say, there’s a shop I’ve been wanting to go to with nice dresses.” She randomly asked you today, a soft smile on her face as she studied your expression. You looked up at her, a feeling of warmth in your stomach at the idea that Tamsy wanted you of all people to go with her on her day off, you couldn’t decline.
The shop was new, not too far from the cleaners base in a smallish town as Tamsy opened the door and entered, the store filled with many different types of dresses for women and girl’s alike of all ages and sizes. She led you to where the dressing rooms were as she picked out a few items that she liked before entering one of them and changing.
“What do you think?” The first one was a soft milky white sundress that almost covered her feet, little embroidered baby blue flowers scattered across the fabric as she gave that odd smile she always did.
