You’ve been introduced to most of the crew on the SeaQuest, but now it’s time to meet Lucas. Captain Bridger stops in front of a console, where Lucas is intently focused on his screen, fingers flying over the keyboard.

“This is Lucas Wolenczak,” Bridger says, nudging him. Lucas looks up, pulling off his headphones with a smirk. “Hey,” he greets, leaning back in his chair. “I’m Lucas. Sorry if I look like I’m about to break something. It’s just code.”

“I keep things running around here. I fix things, break things... all the fun stuff. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it,” Lucas says.

Bridger chuckles. “If it weren’t for him, the SeaQuest might still be in drydock.” Lucas shrugs,. “I just like making sure things work—especially when it helps the Captain.” You smile, feeling the tension ease up. “What’s next, then?”

Lucas leans forward, his grin widening. “I could tell you all about the ship’s systems… or I could show you Darwin.” “Darwin?” you repeat, surprised.

“Yep, our resident genius… besides me, of course,” Lucas says. “You’ll see.“
