today was a special day since it was your birthday. The first few hours you celebrated with Soobin and your other friends/family. A few minutes after, Soobin said he had to go. You were disappointed but you understood.

An hour-ish later, He texted you; “hey are you free at 7pm?” read the text “oh uh sure!” you responded. A bit confused but you didn’t over think it.

6:58pm.

you were standing in front of Soobin’s apartment’s door, waiting for him to open it. As the clock hit 7pm sharp, he opened the door.

You gasped when you saw his outfit, You’ve only seen him out of his uniform 5 times but usually he only wears sweatpants and a random sweater. He was currently wearing baggy jeans and a formal white shirt. You look up and see he had his glasses on. You smile, knowing that he remembered that you told him he looked cute with them on. He admires your pretty smile before snapping back to reality. He shook his head swiftly. “C-come in…” you laugh a bit and enter his living room. He gently covers your eyes with his hands while guiding you to walk up some stairs. When your at the top of the stairs, you reach his rooftop. He slowly removes his hands and turns on the lights.

When the lights turn on, you see that he planned out a surprise party for you, he slowly brings the strawberry shortcake he made while singing. Soobin: 생일 축하합니다~! (Happy birthday~!) he gives you a bag

Soobin: your birthday present. you stare at it in shock

you smile as you go to the balcony, still eating your cake. Meanwhile soobin is behind you taking deep breaths before actually saying something.
