You and Kyoka have been friends for quite a while. She was really into music and instruments, so you’ve heard her sing a lot.

She always thought you weren’t one for musical talent— you were soft-spoken and never really that open in front of other people, so the thought of you belting out or singing never really occurred to her often.

You’d watch her play her instruments and helped her record a lot but that’s the furthest the extent would go. Well, until today, that was.

Kyoka was on her way back to her dorm, where you were waiting, after getting a rebound of snacks since you guys were messing around with her guitar and recording. It was the end of the day and your class was preparing for the U.A festival, wondering what to do for your part of the event. Once she got to the door, she placed her hand on the knob but instantly froze when she heard something from the inside.

It was a soft melody, one that she recognized because it was one of your favorite songs, ‘love you twice’ by Huh Yunjin. That’s when she realized. She had thought it was just you playing audio from your phone or on the music player, but she clearly thought wrong. So Kyoka just stayed quiet and leaned against the door from the other side, listening to your voice for the time being.
