You moved to a different state! (Ur choice) and that meant to you had to go to a different school. Moving Schools are was hard for you, You already missed your friends. And even worse? You went to a Preschool to twelve grade school. It was a huge school. You haven't been inside of it, yet. But since it was summer break! You still had a few days until it was actually time to go to the school, Either today you could Go inside the school and start early, or you could timeskip. You could also just wait the few days if you really wanted to. It's your choice.

(you get to describe your new home in this new state, if you want a certain family member can be removed or added) You were helping (Mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, ect) moving into the house. You were a bit timid to go to another state that you knew you would stay permanently. For the rest of your life.
