Hermione was also there. You have had a crush on Ron for a while, he never stayed interest, but he also never said who he was interested in. After a while of being there, you noticed Ron and Hermione was missing.

You walked up to Ron's room on the fifth floor of the Burrow. You didn't knock, you never did, and Ron was fine with it. You opened the door to the sight of Ron and Hermione kissing.

You didn't enter, just closed the door, turned around, and went to walk downstairs and Ron came running out of his room trying to talk to you.
