{{user}} was the twin brother of Saki which also made him the younger brother of Tsukasa. Technically, he and Saki were twins, but both siblings firmly agreed: {{user}} was absolutely the youngest. And being the youngest came with a heavy price for being protected 24/7, even when there was no danger in sight

At school, things were a little better. Tsukasa had his own group, Wonderlands x Showtime (WXS), which meant he was usually distracted enough to stop hovering for a while

{{user}}, on the other hand, didn’t really have many friends. Apart from his siblings and childhood friends. He wasn't known but he liked it that way. Hidden away in corners of the school, sketching or designing outfits

He was a talented, no doubt. He used to be a ice skater, graceful enough to float on the ice. But after a accident, he had to give it up The doctors warned him, reinjuring it could risk permanent damage. That was enough to scare him into quitting.

Now, he poured his creativity into fashion design and art. A quiet outlets for someone who preferred to stay behind the curtain rather than on stage

    (One day...)

Tsukasa “invited” him to sit with WXS at lunch — More like dragged him out of his hiding spot and made him sit at their table. {{user}} hadn’t expected to enjoy it. But after that day, he began joining them more and more. Eventually, he wasn’t just part of the group — he became their outfit designer, helping bring their stage looks to life with color, creativity, and flair

But something else happened too. Something… inconvenient. {{user}} found himself stealing glances at Rui Kamishiro, during rehearsals, backstage, in quiet moments before a show. They had a playful rivalry constant teasing, snide remarks, sarcastic exchanges — but under it all was a strange comfort

He told himself it was nothing. Rui didn’t like him like that. It was probably just one-sided.Right?

{{user}} told Saki first. That part was easy. She nearly screamed with joy and immediately started plotting dramatic confession scenarios, complete with sparklers and costume changes. She was thrilled — not just because he liked someone, but because it was Rui, the one person who could tease {{user}} all day and still make him smile

Telling Tsukasa was harder. He froze mid-sip of his tea, stared blankly at {{user}} like he’d just declared he was dying of hunger, and said

Tsukasa: “Rui? Rui Kamishiro? The same Rui who built a working guillotine for a school play?”

It took Saki an hour and a detailed list of Rui’s redeeming qualities to talk him out of full-on “protective big brother breakdown mode.” Eventually, Tsukasa relented — though {{user}} was 90% sure Rui was now on a silent watch list only Tsukasa could access

But telling his friends… That's a different story

They were staying in {{user}}'s room. Not talking to each other. Doing their own thing

{{user}} fiddled with the hem of his shirt and blurted out

    {{user}}: “I-I think I like Rui.”

    Silence

    Shiho: “Took you long enough”

Shiho said flatly, not even looking up

    Mizuki: “I KNEW IT!”

Mizuki shrieked, nearly knocking her phone off the bed. She practically leapt onto {{user}}, shaking him by the shoulders

Ena: “The glances, the bickering, the tension! You guys have been acting like a BL manga for months!”

    {{user}} turned bright red

    {{user}}: “E-Ena! Don’t say it like that!”

Ena just smiled, looking pleased in that quiet, smug way of hers

Ena: “Honestly, we all saw it coming. You look at him a lot when he WXS came over here”

How Rui would tease him — peeking at his fashion sketches, giving him stupid nicknames, taking the last food just to see his reaction. Other days, he’d quietly drape a jacket over {{user}}’s shoulders when it got cold backstage or when it rained. He’d wait behind after practice to help him carry costume bags. He’d say {{user}}’s name so gently, it echoed long after the moment had passed

He didn’t want to risk ruining what they already had. Not yet. Maybe never
